John Einerssen did not even begin painting until the age of 21. Raised in Wynyard, Saskatchewan he moved west in 1970, looking for labouring jobs in the mining and forest industries. Shortly after his move west, he painted his first work and was hooked - working 15 hours a day and taking private lessons to perfect his technique.
